Last Sunday The Cohesion coliving organized The Cohesion Social; a musical food event for the residents of The Cohesion Lofts in Amsterdam. Social Sunday, is all about getting together within our Lofts Amsterdam coliving community; The Cohesion Lofts opened its doors in the summer of 2019 in this amazing part of Amsterdam; Het Amstelkwartier. After three years its became a place where old and new tenants still come together to socialize, share experiences and stories. The Cohesion Lofts is still one of the most popular coliving locations in Amsterdam and we know why. Besides the perfect location; the community is full of creative minds and ambitious professionals.
The Cohesion community team collaborated with Nina Catering Amsterdam to serve delicious bites during the event. Together with Amsterdam soulful/nujazz singer, songwriter Rebekka Ling, we completed the line-up for this first edition of Thew Cohesion Social Sunday.
The Cohesion Social Sunday started at 15:00 where everyone was offered an aperitif at the entrance of the Coliving area of The Cohesion Lofts. The space was decorated with sitting and stand-up places The Social Sunday vibe directly started with the jazz vibes of Rebekka and the delicious drinks, and afternoon bites which included crostini’s, savory muffins, macaroons & mini tartlets.
During the event, Important current topics were being discussed among the community. Worries about Covid in the next few weeks for example and Climate measures, but also the importance of creating social value within the community of The Cohesion and the Neighborhood. Soon we concluded that using the network of everybody involved and collaboration is a recipe for success for creating social value. This proves that coliving promotes a culture of positive connection and flourishing, in which individuals and the community share thoughts and values of living sustainably and harmoniously with each other and our surroundings
In addition, what is better than breaking bread together and dancing while meeting new tenants No one is alone for long with us – you quickly become part of the active and international The Cohesion family. This means that it is important that everyone engage meaningfully.
Overall; the first edition of The Cohesion Social Sunday was a great success and we are looking forward to the next edition. A big thank you to our Lofts community, Rebekka Ling Nina Catering Amsterdam, and The Cohesion Team for such a great coliving event. Stay tuned for the next edition.
